Enjoy an evening of Juke Joint Jazz and fine food at the Timber Barn at Red Barn Farm
and support Weston’s Black Ancestors Awareness Campaign (BAAC) for its Fall Fundraiser

Timber Barn at Red Barn Farm
16300 Wilkerson Rd
Weston, MO 64098

The Angela Hagenbach Quintet will provide classic jazz from the American Song Book, and Fernando Faneite will perform a memorable floor show. Late 1800s to early 1900s era dress is optional.

Dinner will be served with your choice of Savory Brisket, Herbed Chicken, or Vegetarian served with Potatoes Au Gratin and Salad Verde. Apple Pie will provide a sweet finish to the meal. A cash bar will be available for all.

Classic Jukes, found for example at rural crossroads, catered to the rural work force that began to emerge after emancipation. Plantation workers and sharecroppers needed a place to relax and socialize following a hard week, particularly since they were barred from most white establishments by Jim Crow laws.

BAAC is a committee of the Weston Historical Museum
